Mole’s World – Rebuilding the World One Mole at a Time

Mole's World

Mole's World : 4.5 Out of 5

When I think of a game with the name Mole in it I don’t typically get too excited. It’s not one of those games that screams fun, or so I thought. If you’ve seen this one listed in the App Store but weren’t too sure then you might want to go back and give it a shot. Occasionally there’s a game out there that we’re not so sure of but with a second shot it proves to be a true diamond in the rough and this is definitely one of them.

Now, the truth is that this one is probably better suited for teens and younger kids but, hey, I’m an adult and I’m actually rather fond of it and I have to admit that I’m a little bit addicted to it. It’s one of the best free iPhone apps that I’ve come across in a while and that’s saying a lot.

The main objective of this game is to help an artist named Doris bring some color and joy to a small village of moles. They are also extremely helpful since they help her to build a new flower shop and build some flowerbeds. In return, she teaches the other moles in the village how to breed flowers and make the land gorgeous. With a little bit of rain and a little bit of love; watch the town flourish and thrive with beautiful spring flowers!

You may think of this as a way to be creative and put your touch on the game but I also think it requires a bit of time management on your part. If you’re into games that require you to log in and check up on the progress every once in a while then this one is definitely for you. You plant some flowers and over time they’ll grow but you’ll have to tend to them and water them and make sure that they’re getting plenty of love along the way.

What I love about this one is that it’s pretty easy to catch on. It doesn’t require a lot of tutorial reviews before you can actually jump right in and get down to planting. Games like that usually turn me off before I even start getting into them. I don’t like the fuss of having to constantly review the tutorials before I actually understand what’s going on.

In short, the game provides great graphics, cool music and is just really fun and addictive if you like games like this. It’s great for the younger kids and, yes, even the occasional adult. I’ve been playing it for about a week now and I’m really happy I downloaded it. So far I’m impressed. I do have to log in to the game occasionally to check up on my flowers and see where things are going but it doesn’t require me to play for hours on end. Also you can get updates on your phone or device (depending on the device) as to when your flowers and plants are ready.
